At Wasbeer & Pauw we love a challenge and facilitating a workshop for the Network Eurandom at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven was definitely one. Eurandom is, in a nutshell, a workshop centre based at the department of Mathematics and Computer Science, TU/e.
In a workshop of one hour and 80 participants Leonie Zoutendijk & Vivian Hendrikse were asked to show how we create movement by giving everyone a voice in the room. Because every human being wants to be seen and heard, but at the same time many people feel very uncomfortable when they are seen and heard. Especially in a group.
So with different work forms we showed them how you can include every participant in a way that feels comfortable. Because we all want to be included and connect with other people and our job is to facilitate this and make it comfortable, fun and useful.
Although we were scheduled at the end of the day, the energy of the group was fresh and amazing! We had a smile from ear to ear during the whole workshop because everything we hoped for happened in front of us!
Thanks Nelly Litvak & Marieke Kranenburg from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven for inviting us and for inspiring us! Thanks Anke Langelaan for being our ambassador at the TU/e!
